Company Background:

We represent a well-established Malaysian company in the Food & Beverage (F&B) industry, currently seeking an experienced Head of Operations to lead overall business and restaurant operations. The position is based at Publika, Kuala Lumpur.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations and commercial performance of all assigned restaurant outlets.
• Lead, coach, and develop Outlet Managers to achieve sales, profitability, service, and operational targets.
• Ensure consistent standards in customer service, food quality, cleanliness, SOP compliance, and outlet operations.
• Monitor outlet P&L, labour and food costs, inventory, wastage, cash handling, and overall productivity.
• Conduct regular outlet visits and performance reviews, identifying issues and implementing corrective actions.
• Work closely with HR, Culinary, Central Kitchen, and Marketing teams on staffing, training, promotions, menu launches, and operational improvements.
• Drive guest satisfaction by monitoring feedback, resolving complaints, and improving service and product quality.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, workplace safety, and company operating standards.
• Report outlet performance, key issues, and improvement initiatives to the Head of Operations.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a multi-outlet restaurant operations role, such as Group GM, GM, Area Manager, Cluster Manager, or Operations Manager.
• Proven experience managing multiple outlets and leading Outlet Managers.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant P&L, sales, labour and food cost control, inventory, and operational standards.
• Full-service or comparable restaurant experience is preferred; hotel F&B and café backgrounds with relevant transferable experience may also be considered.
• Willing to travel between outlets and work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays when required.
