• Prepare and bake bread, cakes, pastries, cookies, and other bakery products according to recipes and production schedules.
• Measure, weigh, and mix ingredients accurately.
• Operate and maintain bakery equipment, including ovens, mixers, and proofers.
• Monitor baking times, temperatures, and product quality to ensure consistent results.
• Prepare dough, batters, fillings, creams, and toppings as required.
• Decorate and present baked goods according to company standards.
• Ensure proper storage, labelling, and rotation of ingredients and finished products.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the bakery, including workstations, tools, and equipment.
• Follow food safety procedures and comply with relevant health and safety regulations.
• Monitor ingredient stock levels and report shortages or wastage to the supervisor.
• Minimise food waste and maintain efficient use of ingredients.
• Work closely with the bakery team to meet daily production targets and customer requirements.
