Requirement

1. Diploma in Interior Design or a related field.

2. Minimum 2–3 years of relevant interior design experience.

3. Strong knowledge of wood materials, cabinetry, joinery, and finishing options.

4. Proficient in AutoCAD for technical drawings and 3D modelling.

5. Familiar with 3D Max, V-Ray, and Adobe Photoshop is an advantage.

6. Good sense of design, colour coordination, and space planning.

7. Experience in preparing technical drawings, furniture layouts, lighting plans, and material boards.

8. Good understanding of colour theory and its application in interior design.

9. Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

10. Fluent in English and Mandarin, both spoken and written.

11. Good time management and ability to meet project deadlines.

12. Creative, detail-oriented, responsible, and able to manage multiple projects independently.

13. Experience in managing project budgets is an added advantage.

Description

1. Meet clients to understand their requirements, preferences, budget, and space needs.

2. Develop interior design concepts, space plans, and custom furniture or cabinetry designs.

3. Prepare mood boards, 3D visuals, presentations, and other design materials.

4. Prepare technical drawings, including layout plans, elevations, sections, and basic construction details.

5. Recommend suitable materials, finishes, hardware, colours, and joinery solutions.

6. Coordinate with Production, Project, Installation, and site teams to ensure designs are practical and accurately executed.

7. Conduct site visits and measurements when required.

8. Revise designs and drawings based on client feedback, site conditions, and technical requirements.

9. Communicate with clients regularly to provide design updates and obtain feedback.

10. Follow up on design progress, project timelines, and design-related requirements.

11. Assist in resolving design, technical, and site-related issues throughout the project.

12. Maintain and organise design files, drawings, specifications, material information, and project records.

13. Assist with client presentations, design discussions, project meetings, and project handover when required.

14. Perform other duties assigned by Management from time to time.
