We are looking for a skilled CNC EDM Machinist to join our Toolroom team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining) machines to fabricate high-precision mold inserts and tooling components according to production schedules and engineering specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Machine Operation & Setup: Perform accurate setup, positioning, and operation of CNC EDM machines for fabrication parts and mold components.
• Quality & Precision Control: Ensure all machined components strictly meet required dimensions, tolerances, and job specifications.
• Schedule & Efficiency Alignment: Keep pace with daily production schedules set by supervisors and continuously work to optimize set-up and machining cycle times.
• Maintenance & Housekeeping: Perform basic routine machine maintenance, troubleshoot minor setup issues, and maintain a clean, organized work area (5S).

Job Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience operating CNC EDM machines within a toolroom or mold manufacturing environment.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in applying proper EDM machining techniques, electrode alignment, and reading technical drawings/specifications.
• Work Ethic: Strong attention to precision and detail, ability to work independently to meet tight tooling production schedules.

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM4,200.00 per month
