Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible, customer-focused, and results-driven Retail Outlet Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our retail outlet. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the outlet team, ensuring excellent customer service, achieving sales targets, maintaining store standards, and ensuring smooth and efficient day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the retail outlet.
• Lead, motivate, and monitor retail staff to achieve sales and service objectives.
• Ensure excellent customer service and handle customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally.
• Drive sales performance and work towards achieving monthly and annual sales targets.
• Monitor staff attendance, work schedules, punctuality, and overall performance.
• Train and coach new and existing employees on product knowledge, sales techniques, customer service, and company procedures.
• Ensure the outlet is clean, organized, well-maintained, and presented according to company standards.
• Monitor inventory levels, stock replenishment, stock receiving, transfers, and stock accuracy.
• Conduct regular stock checks and assist in minimizing stock losses, damages, and discrepancies.
• Ensure proper handling of cash, daily sales transactions, and cash reconciliation in accordance with company procedures.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly outlet reports as required.
• Monitor sales trends and provide feedback and recommendations to management.
• Ensure all company policies, SOPs, safety requirements, and operational procedures are followed.
• Coordinate promotional activities, product displays, and merchandising initiatives.
• Liaise with the management team regarding outlet performance, staffing, stock, and operational matters.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the management from time to time.

Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in retail, sales, or outlet operations, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Minimum SPM/STPM; Diploma or equivalent qualification in Retail Management, Business Administration, or a related field is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Customer-oriented with a positive and professional attitude.
• Able to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Strong sales and target-oriented mindset.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and/or retail POS systems.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Willing to work on weekends, public holidays, and according to retail operating hours when required.

Working Conditions

The Retail Outlet Supervisor will be based at the company's retail outlet and is expected to be actively involved in daily store operations. The role requires standing and moving around the outlet for extended periods and may involve working during weekends and public holidays.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
