Early Childhood Educator (Specialised Literacy & Learning Support)

Location: Bandar Sunway, Selangor
Salary: RM2,500 Basic
Working Days: Tuesday – Saturday
Working Hours: 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM

About Our Client

Our Client is an established education centre specialising in multisensory literacy instruction based on the Orton-Gillingham approach. The centre provides structured learning support for children experiencing literacy difficulties and specific learning challenges, helping them strengthen their reading and writing skills, build confidence and reach their learning potential.

They are looking for a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator who enjoys working with children and is interested in developing specialised teaching skills. Training will be provided for the centre's teaching methodology.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct engaging, interactive and hands-on lessons following the centre's structured curriculum.
• Provide individualised learning support to children with literacy difficulties and specific learning needs.
• Monitor children's learning progress and adapt teaching methods to support their development.
• Prepare teaching materials and maintain an organised, safe and stimulating learning environment.
• Manage daily classroom activities while ensuring children's safety and well-being.
• Communicate with parents on children's progress and learning development.
• Work closely with fellow educators and participate in centre activities, programmes and events.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Care and Education or a related field.
• Passionate about early childhood education and supporting children's learning development.
• Good command of English, both spoken and written.
• Proficient in Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Patient, responsible and able to engage positively with children.
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Training will be provided.

Important Information

This position is based at an established specialised education centre, not a newly established kindergarten. The educator will be working with children who experience literacy difficulties and will receive training in the centre's specialised Orton-Gillingham teaching approach.

Pay: RM2,400.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
