Job Title: IT Executive – Smart Devices & Technical Support

About the Role

We are looking for an IT professional to support the design, development and integration of smart device solutions while ensuring reliable daily IT operations. This role covers hardware and software integration, technical support, IT infrastructure, asset management and information security.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the design and development of secure, scalable smart device solutions, ensuring effective hardware and software integration.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and system issues, respond to IT service requests and prepare incident reports.
• Provide technical advice and evaluate technology solutions for new and existing IT setups.
• Support IT projects to meet agreed timelines, budgets and requirements.
• Configure and maintain IT infrastructure and hardware according to technical specifications and security requirements.
• Manage IT asset inventories and coordinate timely equipment replacement.
• Follow established SOPs and support audits in line with ISO, COBIT and ITIL best practices.
• Contribute to the development and review of IT and information security policies.
• Work with internal teams, consultants and vendors to resolve technical issues and deliver projects.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant technical working experience.
• Understanding of smart device architecture, including hardware and software components.
• Competence in programming languages, frameworks and tools relevant to smart device development.
• Knowledge of Internet of Things (IoT) principles and connectivity protocols, including Bluetooth, Wi-Fi or Zigbee.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and services.
• Understanding of testing, quality assurance, technical risk assessment and relevant compliance requirements.
• Awareness of emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML).
• Good troubleshooting, communication and teamwork skills.
