Possessing a Diploma in Culinary Arts, Baking, or a related field is beneficial but not mandatory,

Required skills: Baking, Food Safety and Hygiene, Cake Decorating  

Demonstrate a strong understanding of baking principles and techniques.

Willing to learn (there is no formal education required, just a desire to learn and be proud of what you are doing)

Work quickly (always strive to be faster and think of ways to improve what we do)

Be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, to understand instructions and collaborate with team members.

Be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to meet the demands of the business.

Assist in the preparation of a variety of baked goods, including cakes, pastries, and desserts, following established recipes and quality standards.

Measure and mix ingredients accurately, ensuring proper ratios and consistency in doughs, batters, and fillings.

Operate and maintain baking equipment, such as ovens, mixers, and sheeters, ensuring they are clean and in good working order.

Decorate cakes and pastries with frosting, icing, and other decorative elements, following established designs or creating original designs as needed.

Maintain a clean and organized work station, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards to prevent contamination and ensure a safe working environment.

Assist in inventory management, tracking stock levels of ingredients and supplies and notifying supervisors when reordering is necessary.

Ensure all baked goods meet the company's quality standards and are visually appealing before being displayed or served to customers.
