Proven experience as an Editor, with a minimum of 1-2 years in the publishing or educational content development sector.

Proficiency in editing, content creation, copywriting, and manuscript review, with a strong understanding of publishing workflows.

Experience in developing educational content, including the use of acronyms and acrostics for effective learning.

Excellent command of the English language, with impeccable grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills.

Familiarity with Bahasa Malaysia is a significant advantage, demonstrating an understanding of local educational needs.

Ability to proofread and edit content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to style guides.

A Diploma in a relevant field such as English, Communications, Education, or Publishing is required.

Review and edit manuscripts for clarity, accuracy, grammar, style, and adherence to PNI's publishing standards, ensuring high-quality educational content.

Collaborate with authors and subject matter experts to refine content, develop innovative teaching aids, and ensure the effectiveness of acronyms and acrostics for student memorization.

Develop and create engaging educational content, including supplementary materials, lesson plans, and interactive exercises, to enhance learning experiences.

Manage the editorial workflow from manuscript submission to final publication, coordinating with design, production, and marketing teams to meet deadlines.

Conduct thorough proofreading of all published materials to eliminate errors and ensure a polished final product.

Research and identify new trends and opportunities in educational publishing to contribute to the development of new book and teaching aid concepts.

Ensure all content is localized and relevant for target audiences in different regions, adapting language and examples as needed.
