Job Description

Responsibilities

SUMMARY:

Ready to power a 300-headcount workforce with payroll precision, lifelong learning and data-driven insight?

We are moving our organisation from manual, spreadsheet-driven HR processes to a connected, cloud-enabled and AI powered people ecosystem. As our HR Generalist, you will sit at the intersection of payroll, learning and development, employee engagement and people analytics, turning everyday HR data into decisions that help our people grow and stay.

This is a launchpad role for a high-potential professional. You will receive structured training to master end-to-end payroll. Alongside this, you will coordinate learning programmes on our LMS, run employee engagement initiatives, and build the dashboards that show leadership how our people are really doing. If you are analytical, curious and energised by tech, this role is made for you.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Payroll Ownership: Undergo hands-on training to run end-to-end monthly payroll, including CPF and statutory submissions
  • Learning & Development: Administer the LMS, track training needs and completions, source external vendors and roll out structure learning modules
  • Skills & Capability Tracking: Maintain skills inventories and training records to surface skills gaps and support succession and internal mobility planning
  • Employee Engagement: Plan and run engagement, recognition and well-being initiatives; administer pulse surveys and follow up on action plans to strengthen morale and retention
  • People Analytics: Extract and clean HRIS data to build monthly dashboards covering payroll cost, training effectiveness, engagement and retention metrics
  • HRIS & Data Governance: Maintain HRIS data hygiene and build automated triggers and milestone alerts, managing all employee data in strict compliance with Singapore's PDPA guidelines

Key Skills & Attributes

  • Analytical Mindset: Strong aptitude for data logic; able to turn payroll, training and engagement data into clear insights and dashboards
  • Advanced Excel: Complete comfort with data manipulation using text formulas and Pivot Tables; exposure to BI tools (e.g., Power BI) is an asset
  • Payroll & Compliance Aware: Foundational knowledge of the MOM Employment Act and CPF; eager to master end-to-end payroll and PDPA data frameworks
  • Engagement & Facilitation: Approachable, energetic communicator who can coach employees and line managers on new learning and engagement platforms
  • Detail-Oriented: Zero-error tolerance for payroll cross-checks, system access setups and data updates

Education & Experience

  • Recognised Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business Administration, Information Systems or a related field
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in HR Operations, Payroll, L&D or as an HR Generalist
  • Hands-on payroll processing experience (preferably in Singapore) is an advantage; strong willingness to be trained end-to-end is essential
  • Familiarity with cloud HR/LMS platforms (e.g., Info-Tech); prior system rollout experience is not required
  • IHRP-CP, payroll or Data Protection certifications are highly advantageous but not mandatory
