Responsibilities

1 - Strategy and planning

• Build onboarding and warming plans for new accounts
• Recommend the flow types each client needs
• Recommend the segment structure and set the review cycles
• Own the list growth strategy
• Build campaign calendars tied to each client’s key dates
• Recommend campaign strategy for occasions and launches
• Recommend the A/B test strategy
• Analyse the results of tests and campaigns and log the reports

2 - Execution direction

• Turn strategy into written build briefs for the Klaviyo builder
• QA every build against the brief before it goes live
• Recommend copy direction to the design team
• Build flows and segments yourself when needed for QA, cover or urgent work

3 - Deliverability and list health

• Monitor sender reputation and deliverability rates for each account
• Own list hygiene: sunset flows, suppression rules and bounce management 

4 - Reporting and client reviews

• Produce account reports on a fixed monthly and quarterly cycle
• Present the analysis and recommendations section in client review meetings, with the Practice Lead owning the meeting

5 - Research and innovation

• Track and study new Klaviyo features and bring recommendations to the team
• Support the practice on Klaviyo WhatsApp and SMS: opt in compliance, template strategy and channel orchestration

What you need

• 4 to 5 years in Klaviyo or lifecycle marketing for ecommerce brands
• Proof that you have grown flow revenue or list health on real accounts, with numbers
• Working knowledge of deliverability: sender reputation, warming, suppression, complaint rates
• Ability to write a clear build brief and to check a build against it
• Hands on experience with Klaviyo flows, segments and campaigns, enough to build one yourself
• Comfortable in front of clients, and able to present data to people who are not technical
• Clear written English

Good to have

• Shopify or Shopify Plus experience
• Klaviyo SMS or WhatsApp experience
• Agency experience with several accounts at the same time
• Experience with GA4 or similar analytics tools
• Familiarity with PDPA or similar consent rules in Southeast Asia

Klaviyo powers retention strategy for the majority of our retainer clients, and this practice continues to expand. We are looking for a strategist to join our Klaviyo team.

Role Description:

You own the thinking behind our clients’ Klaviyo accounts. You decide what each account needs, you write the brief, you check the build, and you prove the result with data. You work with a Klaviyo builder who configures flows and segments, and with a design team that produces the emails. You report to the Klaviyo Practice Lead, who owns the client relationships.

This is a strategy and analytics role first. It is not a full time build role, but you must be able to build.
