THE ORCHARD IMAGING CENTRE PTE LTD, a subsidiary of ASIAMEDIC LIMITED, provides comprehensive general and specialized radiology imaging services in a professional outpatient setting. Equipped with advanced CT, MRI, PET/CT, Mammography, Ultrasound, and X-ray technology.
Job Summary
Join our team as a Sonographer or Senior Sonographer to deliver high-quality ultrasound imaging services aligned with clinical standards, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and accurate diagnostic results.
Responsibilities
Perform ultrasound examinations as requested by doctors to support accurate diagnosis
Prepare and inform patients thoroughly before ultrasound procedures to ensure cooperation and comfort
Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment safely and effectively to produce reliable imaging results
Capture clear and accurate ultrasound images for diagnostic evaluation
Ensure patient safety, comfort, and privacy throughout the examination process
Maintain precise and comprehensive examination records and documentation for clinical use
Adhere strictly to clinical, safety, infection control, and workplace protocols to uphold quality standards
Communicate professionally and clearly with patients, doctors, and colleagues to facilitate smooth workflow
Collaborate with the healthcare team and perform additional related duties as assigned to support department operations
Required competencies and certifications
Diploma in Medical Sonography, Diagnostic Radiography, or a related field
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience with professional certification or registration
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Strong communication and interpersonal skills demonstrated through effective patient and team interactions
Patient-focused approach with a caring and professional manner to enhance patient experience
Ability to work meticulously and independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
Other Information
Work schedule: 5.5 days per week with one Saturday off per month after confirmation
Flexibility to rotate among different locations within the central area

We are equipped with leading-edge technology including multi-slice CT scanner, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scanner and a PET/CT scanner with integrated system that is completely optimized for both cardiac and cancer care. Other imaging services include Mammography, Ultrasound and X-ray. Our integrated RIS PACS system helps streamline operations and improves our level of service to referring physician community
