Responsibilities
Job Title:
Senior Engineer (Civil, Structural & Geotechnical)
Job Description & Key Responsibilities
Technical Engineering Design:
Lead, manage, and execute civil, structural, and/or geotechnical analysis and design.
Authority Submissions:
Direct and oversee the timely preparation, compilation, and submission of design plans, calculations, and documents to local regulatory authorities including BCA, LTA, PUB, and URA.
Project Coordination:
Serve as the primary technical liaison, coordinating closely with architects, clients, main contractors, MEP engineers, and project managers to ensure seamless integration and timely project completion.
Site and Construction Support:
Resolve complex design-related site issues, review contractor technical submissions (e.g., instrumentation and monitoring plans), and ensure compliance with approved drawings.
Team Leadership & Digital Transformation:
Manage and mentor junior and executive engineers. Drive the adoption of advanced digital workflows, computational design, and AI tools to automate repetitive engineering design frameworks.
Job Requirements
Education:
A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in
Civil or Structural Engineering
from a university recognized by the
Professional Engineers Board (PEB) Singapore
.
Experience: Minimum
of
5 years
of design consulting experience in a local Civil & Structural (C&S) or Geotechnical consultancy practice.
Professional Registration:
Eligibility or active progress toward registration as a
Professional Engineer (PE)
with the PEB Singapore is highly advantageous.
Software Proficiency:
Mastery of engineering analysis software such as
ETABS, SAFE, Plaxis, Tekla, etc.
Regulatory Knowledge:
Comprehensive conversance with
Eurocodes
, local building codes, and Singapore authority submission guidelines.
Soft Skills:
Outstanding analytical capabilities, strong project management skills, and clear communication abilities to confidently interface with external stakeholders.
Remuneration& Benefits
Monthly Base Salary:
SGD6,000 – SGD 8,000 per month
(Commensurate with experience, technical specialization, and PE status).
