We're Hiring: Senior Pastry Baker & Pastry Baker | YuBake

Kuchai Lama, Kuala Lumpur

We're looking for skilled, reliable bakers to join our kitchen and help us create cakes, pastries and festive gifts that customers love, made fresh and made right.

At YuBake, we're a halal homemade bakery serving customers through our e-commerce business and YuBake Coffee. As we grow, we need passionate bakers who take pride in quality, consistency and craft.

Senior Pastry Baker

You'll lead by example in the kitchen, working closely with our team to keep our standards high.

What we expect you to deliver:

• Produce pastries, cakes and baked goods to our recipes and quality standards, consistently and on time.

• Lead daily production: plan batches, manage prep, and make sure orders are ready for delivery, café and festive demand.

• Train and guide junior bakers: share techniques, correct mistakes early and help the team improve.

• Support product development: help test and refine new items for launches and festive seasons.

• Maintain hygiene, food safety and halal standards at all times.

• Manage ingredient usage and stock: reduce wastage and flag shortages early.

Who we're looking for:

• Solid experience in pastry or bakery production, ideally with experience leading or guiding others.

• Strong skills in pastry, viennoiserie, cakes or related areas.

• Good time management and the ability to stay calm during peak periods.

• Someone who takes ownership and communicates problems early.

Pastry Baker

You'll be a key part of our daily production, with room to learn and grow.

What we expect you to deliver:

• Prepare and bake pastries, cakes and other products according to recipes and production schedules.

• Decorate, portion and pack products neatly and to standard.

• Keep your workstation clean and organised, and follow food safety and halal requirements.

• Support the team during busy periods, especially festive seasons.

• Be open to feedback and keep improving your skills.

Who we're looking for:

• Some baking or pastry experience (fresh graduates with strong passion are welcome to apply).

• Attention to detail and pride in presentation.

• Reliable, punctual and willing to learn.

• A team player who is happy to help colleagues and adapt when priorities change.
