Channel Sales Manager – Data Center Power / UPS / BBU / Battery Energy Storage

USD 3,000 – 5,000 per month base (paid in local currency; higher for exceptional channel builders)

Remote – based in Malaysia or Indonesia (Greater Kuala Lumpur, Johor, Penang, Jakarta, Batam, Surabaya all welcome)

Founding role – first sales hire in Southeast Asia, working directly with HQ leadership

About the Company

Our client is a national high-tech enterprise headquartered in Hangzhou, China, developing ultra-safe, fast-charging lithium battery technology with full-stack capability – materials, cells, modules/packs, battery management systems (BMS) and complete energy storage systems. The technology grew out of University College London (UCL) research; the company now runs R&D centres in Hangzhou, Foshan and London, holds 30+ patents and has around 1 GWh of annual production capacity.

Its AIDC (AI Data Center) power product line includes:

• 48V rack-level BBUs (battery backup units) for GPU server racks
• 800V HVDC battery sidecars for high-density compute clusters
• High-power lithium UPS battery cabinets
• Commercial & industrial (C&I) energy storage systems

Certifications include UL9540A, IEC 62619 and UN38.3.

What You'll Do

• Identify, sign and develop distributors, UPS / critical power integrators, data center M&E contractors and EPCs in your market
• Train partners on products and solutions; set up partner incentives, targets and KPIs
• Work with HQ presales and R&D to win data center and energy storage projects – from lead to PO to payment
• Engage data center operators, consultants and end users to get the products specified in projects
• Track competitors, pricing, standards and regulations; share monthly market insights with HQ
• Set up channel processes for quotations, contracts, orders, after-sales support and credit risk

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree; 5+ years of B2B sales in data center infrastructure, UPS, critical power, lithium battery / BESS or electrical power equipment
• Proven track record of building and managing channel partners, distributors or system integrators
• Strong network in at least one SEA market (Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines); multi-country coverage is a plus
• Fluent English; local language and/or Mandarin is a strong plus
• Legal right to work in your country of residence (no visa sponsorship); willing to travel within the region
