This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented procurement professional to take ownership of purchasing activities, build strong supplier partnerships, and identify opportunities to improve procurement processes and deliver cost savings.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities, including quotation requests, purchase orders, delivery coordination, and supplier follow-ups.
• Liaise closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely purchasing support and seamless day-to-day operations.
• Identify, evaluate, and qualify potential suppliers, products, and services to enhance sourcing capabilities.
• Monitor supplier performance and support vendor audits, follow-up actions, and corrective measures where necessary.
• Negotiate pricing, contractual terms, and commercial agreements to achieve competitive pricing and cost-effective purchasing outcomes.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with internal procedures, operational requirements, and project timelines.
• Identify process gaps and implement improvements to enhance procurement efficiency, service quality, and workflow effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier documentation, and procurement reports.
• Support budget planning and contribute to cost-saving initiatives and procurement performance targets.
• Undertake additional procurement-related responsibilities as required.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, or a related discipline and above.
• Relevant experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations will be advantageous.
• Strong negotiation, coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Meticulous, organised, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive problem-solving abilities with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
• Able to work collaboratively with suppliers and internal teams to achieve procurement objectives.
• Candidates available to commence work at short notice will have an advantage.
