Job Description

Responsibilities

The Plaster Technician provides patient related services and performs application of plaster casts to meet the needs of the patients in the clinics, operating theatres and wards. The duties include:


  • Apply appropriate plaster cast as prescribed by the doctors
  • Educate patients, parents or caregivers on the general care of a child with plaster cast
  • Attend to enquiries from patients, parents and caregivers and provide customer service to meet their needs and expectations
  • Attend in-service talks and lectures to keep abreast of current practices for self-development and to stay competent in the job


Job requirement

  • Diploma or
  • GCE N / O / A level, NITEC, Higher NITEC or equivalent
