As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, integration, and maintenance of high-performance software solutions used in surveillance, command &control, radar, communication, and other defence technology platforms.

Responsibilities:

·        Design, develop, and maintain complex software applications using modern C++.

·        Develop software components for real-time and mission-critical systems.

·        Participate in software architecture, design reviews, and technical discussions.

·        Translate system and customer requirements into software specifications and technical solutions.

·        Implement multi-threaded, high-performance, and scalable software modules.

·        Develop and optimize software for Linux and/or embedded environments.

·        Integrate software with hardware devices, sensors, communication systems, and network interfaces.

·        Perform software verification, validation, debugging, and performance tuning.

·        Produce technical documentation, design documents, test plans, and user manuals.

·        Support software integration, factory acceptance testing(FAT), site acceptance testing (SAT), and deployment activities.

·        Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

·        Ensure compliance with software quality, cybersecurity, functional safety, and defence standards.

·        Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership during project execution.

Essential Requirements:

•        Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related discipline.

•        Minimum 5 years of software development experience using C++.

•        Strong proficiency in:

Ø  C++11/14/17(or later)

Ø  Object-OrientedDesign (OOD)

Ø  DesignPatterns

Ø  DataStructures and Algorithms

•        Experience with Linux-based development environments

•        Solid understanding of:

Ø  Multi-threading and concurrency

Ø  Inter-process communication (IPC)

Ø  Networking protocols (TCP/IP, UDP)

Ø  Software lifecycle and version control systems

•        Experience using Git, GitLab, SVN or equivalent configuration management tools.

•        Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.

•        Experience working within Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall environments.
