Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
• Ensures compliance with all corporate, government laws and regulations relating to Environment,
Health & Safety Management System.
• Implementation of programs to drive the reduction of safety incidents and environmental harmful
impacts.
• Collaborate with the Workplace Safety Officer to review, update, manages SHE-related incidents on
/ off site, industry safe work methods, legal requirements affecting safety and health. This role
provides guidance and support on relevant SHE matters.
• Coordinate with certification bodies to schedule audits.
• Ensure local SHE and facilities (eg Petroleum and Flammable Material Storage License etc) licenses as
well as certifications remain valid with local authorities.
• Monitor industrial hygiene programs, conduct hazard analysis of hazardous substances and evaluate
hazard control methods
• Compile and maintain necessary documentation, preparing for internal and external audits
Requirements
• Minimum 3 years’ relevant work experience in process safety and hazard management and
background in process design, technical support or operations in the manufacturing or
Pharmaceutical, Petrochemical industry.
• Internal auditor or ISO auditor qualification of relevant standards ISO 14001; ISO 45001
• SCDF as Fire Safety Manager
• Registered with MOM as Workplace Safety and Health Officer is a plus
