Job Description:

• Design, execute and document microbiological, molecular and immunological experiments in compliance with SOPs
• Assist with in vitro studies, including cell culture and co-culture with metabolites, drugs, bacteria or bacterial derivatives; microbial culture under anaerobic conditions; and immunological/molecular assays
• Assist with animal studies, including monitoring, oral gavage, sacrifice procedures and sample processing under approved protocols.
• Perform data analysis and maintain accurate experimental records

Job Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Microbiology, Biological Sciences, Life Sciences, Food Technology or related fields
• Strong hands-on experience in immunology, molecular research and animal studies is highly preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Experience in conducting clinical studies, sample collection and handling, and data analysis (Linux, Python, R) will be considered an advantage.

Appointment will be made on contract basis for one to two years, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement. (Less experience will be considered at Junior Research Assistant)

Work locations are in Hong Kong Science Park Technology Park / Prince of Wales Hospital
