Job Summary

Brainspark Education is seeking enthusiastic, responsible, and dedicated part-time tutors who are passionate about education and helping students achieve their academic goals. The ideal candidate should be able to deliver engaging lessons, provide individualised learning support, and create a positive and encouraging learning environment for students.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct tutoring sessions according to the centre’s curriculum, teaching materials, and guidelines.
• Teach and guide students in their assigned subjects and academic levels.
• Explain concepts clearly and adapt teaching methods to suit students’ individual learning needs.
• Prepare lesson materials, exercises, worksheets, and other learning resources as required.
• Monitor students’ progress, identify areas for improvement, and provide constructive feedback.
• Assist students with homework, revision, exercises, and examination preparation.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and well-organised classroom environment.
• Communicate students’ progress and any learning concerns to the relevant team members or parents, when necessary.
• Maintain punctuality, professionalism, and a responsible attitude at all times.
• Carry out other teaching-related duties as assigned by the management.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification; higher qualifications are an advantage.
• Good command of English and/or other relevant teaching languages.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
• Patient, approachable, responsible, and passionate about working with children and young learners.
• Able to explain concepts clearly and make learning engaging and effective.
• Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and work collaboratively with the team.
• Prior tutoring or teaching experience is an advantage but not compulsory.
• Able to commit to the agreed part-time working schedule.

Working Conditions

• Employment Type: Part-Time
• Working Hours: To be arranged based on the centre’s schedule and teaching requirements.
• Work Location: Brainspark Education centre or other designated teaching locations, as applicable.
• Remuneration: Based on qualifications, experience, teaching responsibilities, and the agreed employment terms.
