Responsibilities

Job Description

Oversee and manage the overall operations of the construction company.

Plan, coordinate and monitor construction projects from commencement to completion.

Develop project strategies, budgets, schedules and manpower plans.

Manage project managers, site staff, subcontractors and suppliers.

Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and according to required quality standards.

Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and relevant authorities.

Monitor project costs, progress, procurement and resource allocation.

Review contracts, quotations, project documentation and progress claims.

Identify and resolve operational, technical and project-related issues.

Ensure compliance with Singapore construction regulations, workplace safety requirements and company policies.

Develop and maintain good relationships with clients, business partners and subcontractors.

Prepare management reports and provide regular updates to company directors.

Lead business development activities and identify new construction opportunities.

Ensure the company's overall construction operations are efficient and profitable.Requirements

Diploma/Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Building or a related field.

Minimum

5 years of relevant experience

, preferably in the Singapore construction industry.

Proven experience managing construction projects and teams.

Strong knowledge of construction operations, project management, contracts and budgeting.

Good understanding of Singapore construction regulations and workplace safety requirements.

Strong leadership, decision-making and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Able to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant construction/project management software.

Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively.

Good business development and client relationship management skills.

Candidates with relevant

BCA/industry experience

will have an advantage.
