About The Role

Under company policy, industry guidelines and regulations, develop annual business plans and annual budgets for the portfolio; and lead the teams to develop and execute annual brand plans and activities to achieve sales target; and supervise A&P costs by brand. Client management. Cooperate with BD team for new business developments. To achieve overall business & corporate objectives

What You Will Deliver

• Plan marketing activities, sales achievement versus target, and client management. To provide customized solutions to implement in order to adapt changing consumer and competition environment, if any.
• Develop and implement short- and long-term marketing strategies and plans for the portfolio. Assign sales target & resource deployment by brand to optimize funds and increase sales objectives. Cascade and monitor key performance indictor achievements by brand or by client.
• To define advertising objectives, recommend choice of media, and allocate resources so that advertising and promotional activities are effective and appropriate for their intended audience.
• Measure and track return on investment for marketing initiatives in achieving sales goals, evaluating effectiveness and overall brand awareness.
• To propose annual sales targets and resources/funds with regional or clients, and to manage complex external clients/agencies or internal cross-functional issues and recommend preventive actions to minimize future incidents. Develop and build relationships with senior management of external stakeholders (clients/agencies) to achieve business objectives.
• Search market intelligence to better understand client requirements for proactive advice as partner, to leverage cross-product/industry business opportunities to propose, in order to maximize parties’ business results or optimize investment’s effectiveness and efficiency.
• Cooperate with BD team to lead or conduct assessments, commercial proposal, provide inputs for negotiation for commercial terms, for new business development. Provide inputs for BD team, if needed, to negotiate pricing and contract terms to facilitate contract/renewal agreements and achieve targeted margins.
• Support Marketing Director to develop new business development & VAS revenue to achieve overall business & corporate objectives.

Work experience

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in marketing; at least 1 year in OTC and Consumer Health industries or consumer goods industries with personal care store and pharmacy channel experience; working in MNC (multi-national company) is preferred.

Functional skills and knowledge

• Demonstrate sound knowledge and understanding of the OTC and Consumer Health industry/market/competitors/consumers
• Demonstrate strong brand/client management and communication skills
• Demonstrate working knowledge on principles and methods of marketing strategy, advertising and promotion
• Demonstrate knowledge on media production, communication and dissemination techniques and methods
• Demonstrate appreciation and respect for cultural sensitivities especially in cross-country/-cultural interactions
• Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
• Demonstrate fluency in English (both written and spoken)

Education

• Degree or professional qualification in Business Administrations or a related discipline; MBA is a plus.
