Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Develop front-end website architecture to create engaging user interfaces
• Design user interactions on web pages to enhance usability and experience
• Build back-end website applications to support core functionality
• Create and maintain servers and databases to ensure reliable performance
• Optimize applications for cross-platform compatibility, including mobile devices
• Ensure responsiveness of applications across different devices and screen sizes
• Collaborate with graphic designers to integrate web design features effectively
• Manage projects from initial concept through to finished product delivery
• Design and develop APIs to enable seamless integration with other services
• Align technical development with consumer needs and business goals
• Continuously update knowledge of web application trends and programming languages

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Degree in computer science
• Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS, React, and Amber
• Proficiency with server-side languages such as Python, Ruby, Java, PHP, and .Net
• Familiarity with database technologies such as MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB
• Strong organizational and project management skills to coordinate development tasks
• Excellent verbal communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders
• Good problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
• Attention to detail to ensure high-quality deliverables
