Job Summary
Perform precise dimensional and functional inspections of manufactured parts using Coordinate Measurement Machines (CMM) and other tools to ensure quality standards. Maintain accurate records, manage non-conformance procedures, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
Operate Coordinate Measurement Machines (CMM) to perform dimensional and functional inspections on First Article (FA), incoming, in-process, and outgoing parts
Record and document inspection data accurately during measurement processes
Initiate non-conformance procedures promptly when inspection results do not meet quality standards
Maintain product identification, status, and traceability throughout the manufacturing process
Follow work instructions and quality control (QC) standards strictly to ensure product consistency
Maintain a clean and organized manufacturing environment to support operational efficiency
Participate actively in continuous improvement programs such as 5S and yield improvement projects
Apply strong attention to detail and consistency to detect deviations and ensure product quality
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Experience in manufacturing, machining, or metal parts handling
