Responsibilities
Key responsibilities
Processing and recording financial transactions, including invoices, expenses, and receipts in the accounting system
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date general ledger accounts and financial records
Assisting with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
Reconciling bank statements and identifying and resolving discrepancies
Supporting accounts payable functions, including vendor invoice processing and payment scheduling
Supporting accounts receivable activities, including customer invoicing and payment tracking
Data entry and management of financial information in various accounting software systems
Assisting with payroll administration under the guidance of senior accounting staff
Filing and organizing financial documents and ensuring proper record-keeping
Supporting the preparation of audit documentation and responding to audit queries
Key Requirements
Diploma or A-Level qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
Proficiency in bookkeeping principles and basic accounting practices
Strong proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Excellent attention to detail with strong numerical and analytical skills
Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks effectively within deadlines
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
Integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information
Familiarity with GST/tax compliance procedures is advantageous
Professional demeanor and commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy
