About the role
MIT Academy is looking for an experienced GCPV Wireman & Chargeman Trainer to deliver hands-on technical and regulatory training covering solar PV installation, testing, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct practical and theoretical training for solar PV installation, wireman techniques, testing, commissioning, and system maintenance.
- Ensure all practical lab work complies with Malaysian electrical safety codes and Suruhanjaya Tenaga regulations.
- Stay updated with evolving technical guidelines and complete active CPD via SEDA refresher training.
About you
- Valid Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) Wireman (PW1–PW6) or Chargeman (A0, A1, A4, B0, B4) competency certificate.
- Valid SEDA GCPV Installation & Maintenance Certificate.
- Valid SEDA GCPV Train-the-Trainer (TOT) for Installers/Wiremen.
- HRD Corp TTT (Train-The-Trainer) certified (JPK VTO preferred).
- 3 to 5 years of verifiable Malaysian grid-connected solar PV experience.
- All submitted certificates must be valid and current at the time of application.
Pay: RM1,453.33 - RM3,753.33 per month
