Job Responsibilities
Provide daily IT support to employees, resolving hardware, software and connectivity issues.
Troubleshoot and maintain desktops, laptops, printers and other office IT equipment.
Support office network operations, including LAN, Wi-Fi, switches and network connectivity.
Perform user account administration in Active Directory, including access permissions, password resets and account setup.
Assist with firewall administration, network security and troubleshooting.
Install, configure and deploy computers, software and IT peripherals for employees.
Provide technical support for Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 applications.
Coordinate with external IT vendors on equipment purchases, repairs, maintenance and technical support.
Maintain IT asset inventories, system records and technical documentation.
Handle IT setup and access arrangements for employee onboarding and offboarding.
Monitor IT systems and identify potential technical issues to minimise operational disruptions.
Escalate complex technical problems to the appropriate support teams or vendors when necessary.
Support other IT operational and infrastructure-related activities as assigned.
Job Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline preferred.
Relevant hands-on experience in IT support, desktop support, system administration or IT infrastructure.
Good knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365.
Familiar with Active Directory administration, including user account management and access permissions.
Basic understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN and Wi-Fi.
Experience troubleshooting computer hardware, software, printers and network issues.
Knowledge of firewall administration and IT security practices.
Experience with Sophos Firewall will be an added advantage.
Able to coordinate with external vendors on IT equipment and maintenance matters.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Responsible, service-oriented and able to work independently.
Good communication skills and willingness to learn new technologies.
