About the Roles

We are hiring a Junior Accounts Executive for a company in the Transportation and Storage industry, located at Airline Road. This permanent position follows a 5.5-day workweek, Monday to Friday (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM) and Saturday (9:00 AM – 1:00 PM), with alternate Saturdays after probation. The salary package includes Basic Salary + VB + Medical & Dental Benefits.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Prepare financial statements and assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Maintain the general ledger and carry out bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Oversee fixed assets, including depreciation, additions, disposals, asset tagging, and annual reconciliation.
• Process AP/AR transactions, check invoices, arrange payments, and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and prepare financial reports while coordinating with relevant departments.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulations.
• Identify areas for improvement in accounting processes and reporting accuracy.
• Carry out other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Relevant accounting experience in AP/AR, general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end closing.
• Knowledge of fixed asset accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting would be an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Good analytical, organisational, and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and complete tasks within deadlines.
