Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily production operations to ensure production targets, schedules, output, and quality standards are achieved.
• Lead, guide, and motivate production staff to maintain teamwork, discipline, productivity, and a positive working environment.
• Assist the Production Manager in planning manpower, production schedules, and material requirements to ensure smooth and timely production.
• Perform hands-on machine troubleshooting, identify the root causes of equipment problems, and carry out necessary adjustments or repairs to minimize production downtime.
• Conduct routine machine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
• Monitor product quality, packaging quality, and production processes to ensure compliance with company standards and specifications.
• Identify production bottlenecks, recurring machine issues, and operational inefficiencies, and recommend practical solutions to improve productivity.
• Ensure production staff follow established SOPs, GMP requirements, food safety practices, and workplace safety procedures.
• Allocate tasks, monitor staff performance, manage attendance, and provide on-the-job guidance and training where necessary.
• Monitor raw materials, packaging materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods to support uninterrupted production.
• Assist with internal and external calibration activities and ensure production equipment is properly maintained and functioning.
• Prepare and maintain production records, output reports, downtime reports, and other relevant operational documentation.
• Carry out additional assignments and improvement projects as directed by management.

Job Requirements

• Possess a Diploma, Certificate, or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
• Experience in production supervision, machine operation, troubleshooting, or maintenance, preferably in food manufacturing.
• Strong hands-on troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and resolve machine and production issues.
• Good leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate, guide, and manage a production team.
• Able to monitor overall production activities, prioritize problems, and make practical decisions under pressure.
• Good understanding of GMP, food safety, quality control, and workplace safety requirements.
• Proactive, responsible, and willing to be hands-on in daily production operations.
• Able to work independently while coordinating effectively with the Production Manager and other departments.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
