Exentec Hiring! Full Time Workshop Construction Manager (Off-Site Manufacturing - Fabrication Yard) in Pulau Pinang - Ricebowl

Location: Bukit Minyak, Penang

We are seeking an experienced Workshop Construction Manager to lead all off-site manufacturing and fabrication activities for large-scale DfMA/OSM modular systems supporting data centre projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end fabrication of modular MEP racks, including mechanical, electrical, piping, ducting, cable containment, and fire protection systems.
• Lead workshop operations, manpower planning, production scheduling, and quality control.
• Oversee assembly sequencing, dimensional verification ("bump tests"), and dispatch readiness.
• Coordinate inventory management, material staging, and logistics to project sites.
• Monitor production progress, resource utilization, and timely project delivery.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives, continuous improvement, and workplace safety standards.

Requirements

• 10-15 years of experience in manufacturing, industrial prefabrication, modular construction, or data centre MEP projects.
• Strong knowledge of DfMA, Off-Site Manufacturing (OSM), Lean Manufacturing, and quality management systems.
• Proven experience leading multi-trade fabrication teams and managing production workflows.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in modular MEP fabrication and data centre projects.
• Strong planning, logistics, and material management capabilities.
• Familiarity with prefabrication yard operations and fabrication scheduling.
