LMA is partnering with a leading international insurance group to identify a risk professional for a high-visibility regional role spanning multiple APAC markets.

This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of risk strategy, regulatory governance and business decision-making, partnering with senior stakeholders to strengthen risk frameworks and navigate an evolving insurance landscape.

The Role

• Drive regional risk oversight across operational, financial, reputational and emerging risk exposures.
• Strengthen enterprise risk frameworks, governance and reporting across diverse insurance entities.
• Partner with senior leadership and group risk teams to provide meaningful insights and support strategic decisions.
• Navigate evolving regulatory requirements and engage with local regulators where required.
• Build strong relationships across markets, with potential responsibility for risk oversight at selected local entities.

The Ideal Candidate

• Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics or a related quantitative discipline.
• At least 10 years of experience in actuarial, insurance risk or enterprise risk management; strong emerging talent will also be considered.
• Strong analytical judgement, commercial awareness and the confidence to challenge constructively.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.
