About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join the IT Services team of a leading regional organization. You will design, build, and support web applications and RESTful services, working closely with tech leads, UX designers, vendors, and offshore development teams to evolve and scale business-critical systems. Proficiency in Mandarin is mandatory, as the role involves regular communication with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders, vendors, and offshore teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement responsive websites, from front end to back end.
• Design and develop RESTful Web APIs and services.
• Work closely with the Team Leader, Tech Lead, UX designers, vendors, and offshore teams on software design, coding, and quality control to meet operational requirements, performance, and scalability goals.
• Communicate with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and teams to gather requirements and align on deliverables.
• Provide support to business users, including bug fixing, minor enhancements, and fine-tuning to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Follow Agile practices such as Scrum.
• Prepare complete documentation, including technical designs, release notes, and user and configuration manuals, in line with ISO documentation standards.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written) is mandatory.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Bachelor's Degree, Postgraduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in software development for web-based applications.
• Front end: Angular 6 and above, Angular Material, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap.
• Back end: .NET (C#) or .NET Core, Web API, LINQ. Node.js is a plus.
• Databases: Experience with Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Redis.
• Data formats: JSON, XML.
• Strong ability to understand and analyze users' actual pain points and requirements.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• UI/UX training, or certification as a web developer.
• Microsoft certifications for developers.
• Ability to communicate in other regional languages.
