Job description

• Operate food processing equipment and machinery as per standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Prepare raw materials for processing (e.g. washing, cutting, mixing)
• Monitor production processes and adjust settings to maintain quality and efficiency
• Inspect raw and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
• Pack, label, and store finished goods according to specifications
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment following food safety regulations (e.g. GMP, HACCP)
• Report equipment malfunctions or product issues to the supervisor
• Follow all workplace health and safety regulations
• Assist with cleaning and sanitizing work areas and machinery
• Complete production logs and reports accurately

Job Requirements

• Minimum secondary education or equivalent.
• Prior experience in food manufacturing or food processing is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety practices.
• Able to operate food processing equipment and machinery, with on-the-job training provided where necessary.
• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, and handle materials as required.
• Able to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and supervisors’ directions.
• Meticulous, responsible, and able to maintain product quality and cleanliness standards.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends, or public holidays when required.
