Please attach your portfolio showcasing relevant projects as part of your application.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and conduct user research, including interviews, contextual inquiry, concept testing, and usability testing.
  • Translate research findings into user journeys, task flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs.
  • Design intuitive, accessible interfaces that simplify complex workflows and improve user experiences.
  • Collaborate with product teams and stakeholders to define problems, validate solutions, and balance user needs with business and technical constraints.
  • Work closely with engineers to support implementation, review delivered features, and resolve usability or visual design issues.
  • Evaluate released features using user feedback, research, and product data to identify further improvements.
  • Facilitate workshops and discussions to build shared understanding and guide design decisions.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of professional experience in UX/UI or product design, with hands-on user research experience.
  • A portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design delivery, from research and problem definition to tested designs and implemented solutions.
  • Proficiency in user research methods, usability testing, interaction design, prototyping, and high-fidelity UI design.
  • Ability to synthesise research findings into actionable insights and communicate design decisions clearly.
  • Experience working with multidisciplinary teams in an Agile environment.
  • Strong collaboration, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Empathy, curiosity, and a user-centric mindset, with the ability to understand diverse needs and challenge assumptions constructively.

Good to have

  • Experience in social services, community initiatives, or services supporting underserved groups.
  • Experience designing for complex workflows or multi-agency environments.
  • Knowledge of accessibility and inclusive design practices.
  • Familiarity with frontend development.
