Menicon Malaysia Hiring! Full Time Assistant QC Engineer (Raw Material) in Kedah - Ricebowl

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist QC Engineer in day-to-day operation of the QC Laboratory and testing activities with QC Technicians.
• Support the preparation and maintenance of inspection methods, testing procedures, sampling methods, work instructions, and related QC documents.
• Monitor and maintain laboratory reagents, chemicals, consumables, samples, and QC-related inventory, including stock level and expiry control.
• Ensure inspection and testing results are properly recorded, reviewed, and entered the applicable quality system/ MES with complete supporting documentation.
• Support investigation and follow up of abnormal test results, quality issues, deviations, and adverse quality trends under the guidance of the QC Engineer.
• Support in quality improvement, process improvement, validation, and verification activities, including data collection, testing, analysis, and report preparation.
• Assist internal/ external audits and regulatory compliance activities by preparing required records and providing relevant information.
• Perform quality data compilation and preparation of reports as required.
• Ensure laboratory activities comply with applicable SOPs, safety requirements, Good Documentation Practices, and Quality Management System requirements.
• Perform any other related duties as assigned by the immediate superior.

Job Requirements:

• Education Level: Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or any relevant discipline.
• Year of Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in chemical handling and documentation. Fresh graduates with willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
• Ability to manage a QC team with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Familiar with laboratory operation and equipment.
• Bahasa Malaysia and English are must, others will be an added advantage.
