Job Description
Responsibilities
Follow the company’s established recipes, portion control, and presentation standards.
Ensure that all areas of the kitchen are clean and sanitized, including kitchen equipment and utensils.
Ensure that all food is handled and processed in accordance with company and government regulatory controls on hygiene and sanitation standards.
Ensure the safe operation of all cleaning equipment, and report any faulty equipment to the Chef.
Assist the Chef and the Executive Chef in planning menus and recipes.
Strictly comply with procedures to minimize food and supply wastage and theft.
Carry out any other duties as instructed by the Chef or Executive Chef.
The scope of work is not limited to the above and may change depending on circumstances and the company’s needs.
