Surface mount technology SMT engineering technicians use SMT equipment to improve processes and

procedures to streamline results.

Work with computers, SMT machines, circuit boards, and soldering equipment, and other assigned

duties. Assist in the assembly and programming of SMT equipment & in charge of the SMT line.

Perform programming, troubleshooting, maintaining SMT machines.

Use quality data to make the process improvement and improve product yields

Responsive on the machine downtime, backlog, quality issue & other necessary according to the

SMT line.

Responsible for compiling the shift output, yield, downtime, and correction action in shift report.

Responsible for SMT component attrition monitoring and record, take necessary action when

attrition out of control.

Responsible for the Preventive Maintenance for the respected line.

Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints,

operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings.

Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts.

Rebuilds manufacturing equipment as required.

Capable of using measuring devices as required.

Perform area and equipment maintenance and clean-up as required.

Follow all established ESD, safety, ergonomic and security policies.

Run NPI (New Product Introduction) & troubleshoot component definitions, feeder assignments and

other functions required to set up a first-time run on the placement equipment.

Responsible for raw data collection, compilation & generating reports.

May perform equipment modifications as directed by manufacturing engineers and any other task

assigned by superior from time to time.

Pay: RM1,453.33 - RM4,253.33 per month
