Qualifications & requirements:

·        Possess a Degree in Mechanical/ Automotive Engineering, or any related engineering discipline

·        Minimum 3 - 5 years of relevant working experience in equipment fabrication, automotive, machinery, workshop operations, or a similar role; Fresh graduates who are keen to develop their career in this field are welcome to apply as Management Trainee

·        Good knowledge of fabrication processes, welding, machining, fitting and mechanical assembly

·        Able to read and interpret engineering drawings, fabrication drawings and technical specifications

·        Good technical, analytical and problem-solving skills

·        Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with workshop personnel and other stakeholders

·        Willing to travel and work on-site/workshop as required

Responsibilities:

·        Provide technical support for workshop operations, including vehicle, machinery, and equipment repairs

·        Prepare technical reports, repair proposals, cost estimates, and related documentation

·        Design and supervise fabrication, modification, and repair works

·        Prepare basic fabrication drawings, material lists, and job specifications

·        Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, structural, and technical issues

·        Coordinate with workshop personnel and relevant departments to ensure repair and fabrication works are completed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications

·        Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the superior from time to time
