At Happy Sprouts Child Specialist Clinic, we believe every child deserves gentle care and every parent deserves a reassuring experience. We are looking for a friendly, responsible and caring Clinic Assistant to join our team!

Job Responsibilities

1. Patient Registration & Reception

• Welcome patients and parents warmly and professionally.
• Register patients, update patient information and manage appointments.
• Handle phone calls, WhatsApp enquiries and appointment bookings.
• Assist with patient registration, billing, payment collection and receipts.
• Explain waiting times and keep parents informed of any delays.

2. Clinical Assistance

• Assist the doctor during consultations and minor procedures.
• Measure and record patients’ vital signs, including weight, height, temperature and other parameters as required.
• Prepare consultation rooms and ensure medical equipment is ready for use.
• Assist with vaccination preparation, documentation and post-vaccination observation according to clinic protocols and training.
• Ensure medicines, vaccines and medical supplies are properly stored and monitored according to clinic procedures.

3. Clinic Operations & Administration

• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation.
• Manage stock, check expiry dates and replenish medical supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and infection control standards.
• Assist with daily opening and closing procedures.
• Perform other administrative and operational duties as assigned.

4. Patient Care & Communication

• Interact patiently and compassionately with children and their parents.
• Provide clear and polite communication in person, over the phone and via WhatsApp.
• Help create a child-friendly, comfortable and welcoming clinic environment.
• Respect patient confidentiality and maintain professional conduct at all times.

Job Requirements

• Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in a clinic, healthcare or customer service setting is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; training will be provided.
• Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Mandarin or other languages are an added advantage.
• Friendly, patient and comfortable working with infants, children and parents.
• Responsible, organised, attentive to detail and able to work in a team.
• Willing to learn basic clinical procedures and clinic management systems.
• Able to work according to the clinic’s operating schedule.

Public holidays, leave arrangements and any schedule changes will be communicated by the clinic.
