Job OverviewAs the Finance Manager, you will oversee the company's full finance and accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective cash flow management, statutory compliance, and strong financial controls. You will provide management with meaningful financial analysis and insights to support business decisions while leading and developing the finance team.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and oversee the company's full spectrum of finance and accounting operations, including GL, AR, AP, fixed assets, and month-end closing.
- Manage monthly and annual financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and management analysis.
- Review financial performance, budgets, variances, and key business indicators to provide insights and recommendations to management.
- Oversee receivables, payables, cash management, bank reconciliation, and inter-company transactions.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial records in compliance with accounting standards, tax requirements, and company policies.
- Strengthen financial controls, accounting processes, and reporting systems to improve operational efficiency.
- Lead annual budgeting and financial planning in collaboration with management and business units.
- Manage relationships with auditors, tax agents, bankers, company secretaries, and relevant authorities.
- Oversee internal and external audits and ensure timely completion of statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Lead, coach, and develop the finance and accounting team, including work allocation, performance management, and capability development.
- Provide guidance on accounting and financial matters and act as the key finance partner to management and business operations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and undertake financial projects or ad-hoc assignments as required.
What We're Looking For- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional qualification such as MIA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA, ICAEW, or equivalent is highly advantageous.
- Minimum 7–10 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, with management or team leadership exposure.
- Strong experience in full-set accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Experience in a multinational, logistics, supply chain, or fast-growing business environment is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of accounting standards, taxation, statutory compliance, and internal controls.
- Mandarin-speaking is advantageous to work closely with Regional Team based in Greater China.
- Strong analytical and commercial mindset with the ability to translate financial information into business insights.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to guide and develop a finance team.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proactive, hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
