Proven experience as a Kitchen Crew member or Assistant Chef, with at least 1-2 years in a similar fast-paced food service environment.

Proficiency in various food preparation techniques, including chopping, dicing, and portioning ingredients accurately.

Assist to cook

Familiarity with general kitchen operations, including inventory management, stock rotation (FIFO), and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices to prevent cross-contamination.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service delivery.

Able to assist with dishwashing and maintaining the cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and surfaces.

Ability to follow instructions from Head Chef or Sous Chef and contribute to menu development or specials as needed.

Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work in a hot kitchen environment.

Able to start work early morning

Assist the Head Chef in the preparation and cooking of menu items according to established recipes and quality standards.

Ensure all food is prepared, cooked, and presented in a timely and efficient manner, maintaining high standards of quality and consistency.

Maintain a clean and organized work station, adhering to all food safety and sanitation regulations and procedures.

Assist to monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages or discrepancies to the Head Chef.

Assist to maintain kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including ovens, grills, fryers, and slicers.

Support the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, including staff supervision, scheduling, and training as needed.

Assist with receiving and storing food supplies, ensuring proper rotation and storage to minimize waste.

Assist in dishwashing duties and maintain cleanliness of all kitchen utensils, cookware, and serving dishes.

Collaborate effectively with other kitchen staff and front-of-house team members to ensure smooth service flow.
