Textainer is a global shipping container leasing company with partners in over 15 countries around the world. The Development team and the Software Developer are responsible for all phases of the design, development, testing, and support of software applications needed to support our business operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• A key contributor role in a small software development team involving all aspects of system development, including user requirement analysis, prototyping, data object design, development, implementation, maintenance, and documentation
• Must be a self-starter and have proven track record of finding ways to learn and work independently and collaboratively with team members and application business owners (ABO) in all phases of the SDLC.
• Strive to design sustainable systems that are scalable and flexible, also understand well the occasional needs to triage time-sensitive projects that may require temporary and pragmatic solutions.
• Modernize the front end, moving from legacy UI technologies under the guidance of supervisor.
• Provide accurate ETA and complete tasks within reasonable deviation.
• Take on operational responsibilities which sometimes require working beyond the normal business hours.
• Treat others in a nondiscriminatory, lawful and ethical manner, respecting the differences among people, and the value they bring to the Company.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ years of MS SQL design, coding, and data integration with external systems.
• 2+ years of flexible software design and writing clean reusable code using C#, ************* Webforms, ************* Core Blazor, XML, JSON, Typescript, javascript, jQuery, CSS.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills for business requirement gathering and analysis, and to create workflow diagrams and technical documentation.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or STEM field with experience.
