Diploma in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Engineering.

Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a purchasing role within the construction or building industry.

Proficiency in Mandarin language to effectively communicate and negotiate with suppliers.

Demonstrated ability to source and evaluate potential vendors, obtain competitive quotations, and compare supplier offerings.

Proven negotiation skills to secure favorable terms and pricing with suppliers.

Experience in maintaining and developing strong relationships with key suppliers.

Onsite presence is required at the company's location in Kuala Lumpur, specifically at E-07-02, The Icon, Jalan /68F, Jalan Tun Razak, 50400 Kuala Lumpur.

Ability to use Wechat and WhatsApp for business communication.

Source and evaluate potential vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors for construction materials, equipment, and services, considering factors such as price, quality, reliability, and delivery speed.

Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure the most favorable deals while adhering to budgetary constraints and project specifications.

Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.

Monitor inventory levels of key construction materials and supplies, anticipating potential shortages and proactively placing orders to avoid project delays.

Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and actively seek out new suppliers to expand the company's network and ensure competitive pricing.

Conduct regular market research to stay informed about industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and new product offerings.

Expedite orders and resolve any issues related to delivery, quality, or invoicing in a timely and efficient manner.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand their purchasing needs and ensure that materials and equipment are delivered on time and within budget.

Maintain accurate records of all purchasing activities, including vendor information, pricing agreements, and purchase orders.

Evaluate supplier performance and provide feedback to ensure continuous improvement in quality, delivery, and service.
