Company Background:

Our client is an established manufacturer with continuous expansion. They are currently looking for an Information Technology (IT) Senior Manager to be based in Melaka.

Job Purpose:

• Responsible for strategic management of and organization's IT systems and teams, ensuring IT Services are delivered on time, within budget and meet user needs.
• Lead the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee the planning, execution and deliver of IT projects.
• Develop and manage the IT budget, including resource allocation and expenses monitoring.
• Evaluate and select vendors, negotiate contracts and monitor performance.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Provide guidance to the IT team and foster a high-performance culture. Team management and performance review.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their IT needs.
• Identify and recommend technology solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
• Guide and lead the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum a Degree / Master in IT or related discipline
• Minimum 10 years of experience in IT management in a high-volume manufacturing environment, demonstrating a proven track record in technology oversight.
• Experience in leading a big team.
• Experience in managing budgets and resources.
• Strategic thinking skills, deep knowledge of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, hardware, server and project management methodologies.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to work in Melaka.
