About the role

We are a Singapore-based main contractor looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team. You will be responsible for tender preparation and submission, cost control, and contract administration across our projects, working closely with our project, site, and procurement teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit tender documents, including pricing, bills of quantities (BQ), and supporting documentation
• Carry out quantity take-off and measurement from drawings and specifications
• Source and compare quotations from subcontractors and suppliers
• Review tender drawings, specifications, and contract conditions, and raise tender queries where needed
• Prepare cost estimates and rate build-ups for management review
• Prepare and submit monthly progress claims to clients and follow up on payment certification
• Evaluate subcontractors' progress claims and prepare payment responses
• Prepare, submit, and negotiate variation order claims with clients and consultants
• Assess and negotiate subcontractors' variation claims
• Monitor project budgets and report on cost variances

About you

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
• Minimum 3 years of working experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a Singapore construction company, preferably with a main contractor
• Proven experience in preparing and submitting tenders
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and measurement software (e.g. AutoCAD, CostX, or similar)
• Meticulous, organised, and able to meet tight tender deadlines
• Strong team player who works cooperatively and proactively with colleagues across departments

Pay: $3,000.00 - $4,500.00 per month
