About the role
Responsible for EMC design throughout the product development lifecycle, from early-stage design reviews and risk assessment to testing, troubleshooting, and corrective design, ensuring compliance with automotive standards and customer requirements.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for the EMC design and development of automotive LiDAR products.
- Conduct EMC design reviews of schematics and PCB layouts, and provide recommendations for design optimization.
- Be familiar with automotive OEM EMC standards and testing requirements, and independently review customer test plans to identify potential risks and key considerations.
- Be familiar with EMC test methods, testing requirements, and relevant standards/regulations for automotive electronic products.
- Own EMC design, assessment, testing, and validation throughout the LiDAR product development lifecycle, ensuring EMC requirements and milestones are achieved at each stage.
- Perform theoretical analysis, troubleshooting, and corrective design improvements for EMC issues encountered during hardware development, and drive issues through to closure.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of relevant EMC experience, with hands-on experience in EMC design involving hardware circuits and/or mechanical structures.
- Experience in EMC design and development for automotive electronics preferred
- Hands-on experience in EMC troubleshooting and remediation design, with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective design improvements. Experience with EMC simulation tools is preferred.
- Good understanding of automotive electronics hardware architecture, including the interaction between circuit, PCB, grounding, shielding, and overall system design.
