Responsibilities
About the Role
Unicom Marketing is expanding its business across Asia, developing regional partnerships, launching new products and business models, and exploring new growth opportunities including fundraising and strategic collaborations.
As the CEO shifts more of his focus towards international business development, regional partnerships, new product development, fundraising, speaking engagements and strategic growth, we are looking for a highly organised, proactive and resourceful Executive Assistant to work closely with him.
Key Responsibilities
1. Executive & Administrative Support
Manage the CEO’s daily schedule, meetings, appointments and business priorities.
Coordinate internal and external meetings across different countries and time zones.
Prepare meeting agendas, briefing notes and relevant documents before meetings.
Take meeting notes when required and convert discussions into clear action items.
Track outstanding matters and remind relevant parties about deadlines and commitments.
Assist with travel arrangements, business trips, conferences, speaking engagements and regional meetings.
Maintain organised records of important documents, contacts, proposals and business discussions.
2. Business Follow-Up & Coordination
Support the CEO in following up with:
Maintain a structured follow-up list and ensure important opportunities do not get overlooked.
Coordinate communication between the Founder and internal departments to make sure agreed actions are executed.
Follow up on proposals, meetings, introductions, partnership discussions and business opportunities.
3. Proposal & Presentation Development
Assist the CEO in preparing:
The candidate should be able to take ideas, voice notes, meeting discussions or rough information from the Founder and organise them into a clear and professional presentation structure.
Strong PowerPoint / Google Slides skills will be highly valuable.
Basic visual sense and the ability to present information clearly are important.
4. International Business Support
Support the CEO in developing Unicom Marketing’s regional and international business.
Assist with research on potential:
Help prepare market information before overseas meetings.
Coordinate follow-ups with regional partners across Southeast Asia and other international markets.
Maintain a database of international contacts, discussions, opportunities and next actions.
Support regional projects involving markets such as Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines and other Asian markets.
5. New Product & Business Development Support
The CEO will increasingly focus on developing new products, services and business models for Unicom Marketing.
The Executive Assistant will help to:
Research industry trends and competitor offerings.
Organise product ideas and development discussions.
Coordinate meetings between internal teams, technology partners, suppliers and external collaborators.
Prepare concept decks and business proposals.
Track product development timelines and outstanding actions.
Help turn early-stage ideas into structured business concepts.
Products may involve areas such as experiential marketing, marketing technology, mobile activation, smart retail, interactive technology, data analytics and other new business opportunities.
6. Fundraising & Investor Support
Assist the CEO with fundraising activities including potential equity crowdfunding initiatives.
Support preparation of:
Coordinate communications and meetings with crowdfunding platforms, investors, advisors and other relevant parties.
Maintain records of investor conversations and follow-up actions.
7. Speaking Engagement & Personal Branding Support
The CEO regularly participates in conferences, workshops, industry events and speaking engagements.
The Executive Assistant will help coordinate:
Speaking invitations and schedules.
Speaker profiles and biographies.
Presentation decks.
Event organisers.
Travel arrangements.
Supporting materials required for conferences.
Where necessary, assist with organising content or information for LinkedIn and other professional communication.

The Person We Want
We are not looking for someone who only manages a calendar.
We are looking for someone who can eventually become the CEO’s right-hand support person, prefer someone who understands the CEO’s priorities, helps organise ideas, keeps people accountable, prepares information for important discussions and ensures that opportunities move from conversation to execution.
