Job Summary
The Business Development Manager will play a key role in driving growth strategies for our F&B establishment. Operating at the intersection of strategic planning, commercial expansion, and brand management, this position is responsible for scaling market presence, driving revenue opportunities, cultivating high-value B2B and vendor partnerships, and overseeing targeted marketing initiatives to maximize profitability and market share.
Key Responsibilities
Market Intelligence & Strategic Planning:
Conduct ongoing analysis of Singapore’s F&B trends, competitive landscapes, and consumer purchasing behavior to formulate high-impact market entry and expansion strategies.
Partnership & Stakeholder Management:
Build, secure, and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers, commercial partners, event organizers, and corporate clients to optimize supply chains and drive commercial growth.
Sales Leadership & Revenue Optimization:
Lead sales initiatives, contract negotiations, and corporate account acquisitions. Establish sales targets, forecast revenue metrics, and continuously analyze performance against business KPIs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with internal kitchen operations, service, and marketing teams to ensure seamless execution of commercial strategies, seasonal campaigns, and new menu offerings.
Campaign & Promotional Execution:
Oversee promotional and digital marketing campaigns designed to elevate brand awareness, enhance customer acquisition, and boost customer retention.
Financial & Budgetary Control:
Prepare, manage, and optimize budgets for business development projects to ensure optimal financial efficiency and return on investment (ROI).
Reporting & Governance:
Deliver regular executive updates and performance reports on business metrics, market changes, and competitive threats to senior management.
Requirements & Qualifications
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
Industry Experience:
Minimum 3–5 years of demonstrated success in business development, sales, or commercial expansion within the Food & Beverage or Hospitality sector.
Technical Competence:
Proficient in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint), and digital performance tracking tools.
Analytical Capability:
Proven ability to analyze financial metrics, sales forecasts, and market data to drive actionable business decisions.
Communication & Negotiation:
Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, and contract-negotiation skills with a track record of securing high-value accounts.
Self-Motivation:
Strong problem-solving capabilities with a proactive, results-oriented mindset suited for a high-pace F&B environment.
