Job Summary

As a Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO), you will lead safety compliance and risk management at project sites, ensuring adherence to MOM and WSH regulations while promoting a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor workplace safety and health compliance at project sites to maintain regulatory standards and reduce risks
• Conduct regular safety inspections and detailed risk assessments to identify hazards and prevent incidents
• Implement and oversee WSH policies, procedures, and safe work practices to ensure consistent safety performance
• Investigate workplace incidents thoroughly and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence
• Lead safety briefings and toolbox meetings to communicate safety protocols and engage workers in safety culture
• Ensure ongoing compliance with Ministry of Manpower (MOM) and Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations through proactive oversight

Required competencies and certifications

• Valid Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) registration with MOM
• Proven experience in construction or project site safety management
• Strong knowledge of WSH regulations and risk management principles
